# Triple Threat Belt

A flag belt design where three flags are permanently sewn onto a web belt that releases entirely when any flag is grabbed, eliminating loose components.

## Definition

The Triple Threat belt is one of the most widely used designs in organized flag football. Unlike Velcro-based belts where individual flags detach while the belt remains, the Triple Threat releases the entire belt mechanism when a flag is pulled.

The three-flag design means the ball carrier always has flags accessible from multiple angles. The full-release mechanism eliminates the 'partial pull' scenario where disputes arise.

## Example

"She went to pull the flag, got the entire belt—clean Triple Threat release. No question the play is dead."

## Common Confusion

Confusing Triple Threat belts with pop-socket or Velcro designs. Different release mechanisms create different deflag sensations—train with the belt type used in your league.
